general,

- Activeness. Simple as that. If you're going to be absent, there is a hiatus sub-board that you can post in.
- Listen and obey the staff members. No exception.
- No discrimination whatsoever. Racism/Sexism/Whatever.
- As much as we allow you to have as many characters, please even out the genders. If you have a girl, you may apply for another girl but your next character should be a boy.
- No character-bashing unless it's in character.
- Cursing/swearing is limited or should be done in character.

role playing,

- No messing with the main plot unless we state so.
- This is a literate site, so no one-liners please. There's a minimum of 300 words. So detail is important.
- Even though we're literate, it kills to read essay-like posts. C'mon, we really don't need a paragraph detailing about how a character brushes their teeth.
- No Mary Sues or Gary Stus (a.k.a. perfect characters). No-one's perfect anyway.
- Grammar and spelling is important.
- No god-modding unless you ask permission from the other player.
- Role-playing should be done in third character and in past tense.
- All cannon character relationships must stay the same unless already specified in the plot. E.g. Neil can not wake up one day and decide he doesn’t like Maddy anymore. He can however date someone else in an attempt to get over Maddy.
- Out of character discussions in parenthesis' (single or double) before or after your post, not in between.
- Threads past PG-13 should be kept at a minimum and should carry a "R" in the title.
- Pregnancies that aren't part of plots should be told to and approved by staff first.

misc,

- Icons and signatures must both contain your character's play-by. And absolutely NO ANIME. Max width for signatures ae 480 pixels.
- To let us know that you've read these rules, mention the word "Jellybeans" (highlight quote) somewhere at the end of your bio.
- Obey c-box rules.

your guide to creating a loveable character,

1. All characters should have at least one aspect that is original. Trust us, an RPG site filled with flirtatious, blonde bombshells and buff, charismatic men looses its novelty very quickly.

2. Given that the style of this RPG site is generally a comedy, it would be greatly appreciated if most characters had some type quirkiness in their personality.

3. Also just because this site has a crazy nature about it does not mean your characters can have supernatural powers. However your characters are allowed to think they have supernatural powers. The same goes for alien adductions and pregnancies. Your character is allowed to believe they have been abducted but they can’t actually have been abducted.

4. No constantly depressed characters that are on a never ending down ward spiral of depression. Your characters are allowed to be sad, just don’t make it their day job. We are not looking for Ryan Atwood and Marissa Cooper from The O.C. type characters.

5. An exception to this rule is if your characters personality is based on being depressed, but is done in a comical way. Think of the lawyer from Scrubs. Don’t know who he is? Look him up on Youtube.

6. We would prefer if there was some cultural variation among the students of Scholl University as it is unrealistic to have characters that come from the same background. For this reason characters may come from all over the world, but not from out of this world. (Re-read guideline #3 if you have forgotten).
